Social Work Services
ATWC’s Social Work Services include Family Start and Social Workers in Schools.
Our Social Work Services are integrated with ATWC’s Family Services and Early Childhood Education Services – taking a holistic approach to protecting and nurturing children, young people and their families so they can enjoy the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
Family Start is an intensive, home-visiting service targeted at at-risk mothers in the central Auckland area with newborn children.
We also run Social Workers in Schools (SWiS) programmes in Auckland primary, intermediate and secondary schools which are part of the Ministry of Social Development’s Strengthening Families initiative.
