There are three grant levels:
$20,000

Anniversary donations
Our target is $50,000
ATWC has developed a donations programme to enable you to partner with us to help improve the daily lives of families within our community.
There are three levels of donations that can be made as a one off donation or through monthly instalments.
$18,000 will fund a specialist attachment treatment group.
$3,000 will enable Attachment Services support for a family for 20 weeks for 1.25 hours per week with a highly-skilled therapist in the areas of physical and emotional abuse, grief, depression, stress, self-esteem and relationships.
$500 will provide an assessment of a family’s current support service needs.

Parish collections
Our target collection is $100,000
ATWC was founded by members of the Anglican Church and to this day enjoys the support of the Auckland Diocese.
In this our anniversary year, we hope that 100 parishes in the Auckland Diocese will give generously to support the expansion of our Attachment Services. Special collection boxes and anniversary posters have been distributed to Anglican parishes in Auckland. If every family was to contribute $10 to their parish collection it would help us raise around $100,000.
To find out more about how your parish can contribute to ATWC’s anniversary fundraising, please phone Suzanne Cookson on (09) 354 0556 or email info@supportatwc.org.nz
Bequests
Our target is $50,000
A gift is a powerful way to assist the ATWC in helping families now and in the future. Making provision in your will does not affect your income during your lifetime. It will, however, benefit New Zealand through an investment in developing nurturing and loving families.
If you wish to leave a bequest for the ongoing development of the Attachment Services please call Suzanne Cookson on 09 354 0556 or email info@supportatwc.org.nz and we can assist with wording.
Anniversary sponsorships
Anniversary sponsorships provide businesses with the opportunity to give back to the Auckland community and be associated with one of New Zealand’s oldest charities.
There are a number of ways to participate:
Family Day Out
Attachment Services Clinic naming rights
Attachment Services training seminar
Vehicle lease
Research fellowship
Family Day Out
Naming rights sponsorship target is $20,000
At the heart of ATWC Attachment Services is the parent-child interaction.
There is an opportunity for an organisation to have naming rights sponsorship of the Family Day Out creating a meaningful and significant contribution to our cause and giving families an experience they’ll truly remember. This day involves up to 5,000 parents and children.
To find out more about this opportunity please contact Suzanne Cookson on (09) 354 0556 or email info@supportatwc.org.nz
Attachment Services Clinic naming rights
$30,000
Your sponsorship will support the establishment of a dedicated Attachment Services Clinic at the ATWC premises in Otahuhu. A permanent plaque would acknowledge your support.
To find out more about this opportunity please contact Suzanne Cookson on (09) 354 0556 or email info@supportatwc.org.nz
Attachment Services training seminar
$15,000
ATWC would like to host a leading international academic in the field of Attachment Services to provide a one-day intensive training seminar in October 2008 for ATWC clinical staff. Your sponsorship would make this possible.
To find out more about this opportunity please contact Suzanne Cookson on (09) 354 0556 or email info@supportatwc.org.nz
Vehicle lease
$10,000
Many of the families we counsel do not have their own transport. Your support will provide a lease vehicle to enable ATWC to bring families to the Otahuhu clinic for counselling.
To find out more about this opportunity please contact Suzanne Cookson on (09) 354 0556 or email info@supportatwc.org.nz
Research fellowships
Our target is $15,000 per annum
To continue work that’s significant and meaningful to the community, the ATWC is seeking sponsorship of a research fellowship. The research will specifically look at international best practice Attachment Service models and develop a model suited to local needs.
There are sponsorship opportunities around both the initial start up research phase and the establishment of ongoing evaluation research to measure the effectiveness of the programme over time. This research is fundamental to the effectiveness and long term success of the programme.
