These targeted learning programmes assist Pacific Island Families to obtain the knowledge and skills they need.
Pacific Island Family Services is a specialised Pacific service under the umbrella of ATWC. All of our programmes are culturally safe and sensitive.
As a community social service, Pacific Island Family Services offer family support and assistance in most family related issues. As a Pacific service we recognise the importance of family and community. Our services are aimed at strengthening the capacity of the family through offering cultural guidance, understanding, and support.

- Translation & Interpretation services
- Facilitation of family meetings
- Ongoing family support programmes
- Ethnic specific programmes
- Culturally appropriate services
We are able to deliver these services in both English and Pacific languages. All staff are of Pacific ethnicity and are trained professionals in delivering both western and culturally appropriate services. We cater our services to all ages and ethnicities.
Our profession and cultural counselling services are offered in:

All our programmes are inclusive of the values, beliefs, spiritual and cultural contexts of Pacific people and consider the socio-economic and environmental factors that impact on our community
Our programme facilitators comprise a multi-cultural team who are fluent in:
- Cook Island Maori
- Samoan
- Tongan
